Art For Ewe

Art for fun  – Don’t be a sheep, buy the sheep!

Artist Ann Gadd understands that art is too expensive for most people to own, which is why she has developed a completely unique series of products with an art heritage. Art for Ewe offers ready-to-hang block mounted prints, books, greeting cards, birthday calendars and fridge magnets that use sheep as the focal point for irreverent humour.

Ann says that she has developed a unique purchase system on her Website for online buyers, which is a totally new step for a local artist. She will also soon release a book explaining how she has made her art into a viable form of income.

She is no shy little lamb either, personally following up with her clients, which results in much repeat business. Hoping to increase the exposure of her sheep products, she has also created an animated version for TV, although she requires help in getting this to the attention of those in the know at either the SABC or e-TV.

She adds that as an artist she know precious little about distribution, manufacturing and administration. Without trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes, she wants help with local and overseas orders and distribution, manufacturing, animation, exporting her products and the design and creation of wire stands for her prints, cards and calendars.
