Barry heads up the Aurik Back-Office Hub which provides outsource back-office solutions including financial systems implementation (accounting, payroll and costing), review of internal controls, preparation of annual budgets and forecast, monthly management of accounts, corporate tax computation and general bookkeeping services.

Barry became a Chartered Accountant in 2002 after serving his articles at PWC as a senior audit clerk managing audits for a number of listed and private businesses. Keen to further his career at the coal face, he joined Amalgamated Beverage Industries (South African Breweries Division) as a Management Accountant, managing costings of the diverse manufacturing and services functions, reporting to the Financial Director of the division.

An opportunity arose to travel and Barry took up a post at Multichoice Zambia as the chief financial officer managing a staff component of 50, based in Lusaka. After 4 years, Barry came back to SA and joined Siemens Enterprise Communications as the financial manager for a business division with a turnover R500 million per annum. After two years he left the corporate world and established his first entrepreneurial venture, providing tailored financial solutions to small and medium sized entities, before establishing the Aurik Back-Office Hub.
