Blue Media
The camera never lies
As someone who has always had an interest in the various aspects of camera work, it was only natural that Tumelo Lerole would start a company that offers professional photography and video production services.
Blue Media, launched in Leondale, Germiston in 2004, is the culmination of his dream to run a business that offers everything from corporate and event photography to scheduled photo shoots and wedding work.
Tumelo says that even in school, photography fascinated him and he operated a small sweet selling business in high school which enabled him to earn enough money to purchase his first SLR camera.
Today he works with corporates, PR companies and other key players that require photographic and video production services. He says that he receives excellent support from his customer base, because Blue Media not only meets, but generally exceeds, their expectations with regard to service.
His first major client was none other than DJ Cleo and he says that getting in with Ghetto Ruff Records certainly opened a lot of doors. Today, Blue Media is a one-stop solution that offers both still and motion pictures, as well as value added services such as styling and set management. The company will even print pictures on site at an event and brand them as per the customer request.
In sum Tumelo describes Blue Media as the seamless integration of art and technology, while always putting the needs of the customer first.
