Business Acceleration
Passion is important when building a business and at Aurik, we believe that purpose is equally important. As an entrepreneur, your purpose should be to build your business into an Asset of Value.
This is a business with a great strategy, a rock solid business foundation and grows year-on-year. This is a business that funders would want to give expansion or growth finance to, an individual or a company would want to buy and that you would be able to sell for a good price. This matters because for us as entrepreneurs, our businesses are ultimately our pensions and we need to get this right.
As our premier business development program, we work with you over 36 months in the following areas:
- Annual Strategic workshops to best position the business in a changing market;
- Goal setting workshops to drive forward momentum;
- Development of your business systems to create a solid foundation in the following areas: Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Human Resources, Finance and Management.
- Quarterly business performance and financial reviews to make sure we are on track;
- Business valuations to measure growth in value;
- Business Risk Diagnostics and remedies to improve valuations;
- Mentorship support to tackle problems, challenges and opportunities that develop as your business grows.
How Does It Work?
A business development program is developed that will each month see us working together to systematically build the foundation of the business and accelerate the growth of the business by tackling the elements above. We do this through a combination of one-on-one workshops, consultations with experts and sessions in which business frameworks are developed, business tools are provided and business activities and exercises that we, working with you, will perform on your business.
Criteria
The Acceleration program is an investment! As an entrepreneur, you are investing both in yourself and your business; as Aurik, we are investing in both you and your business’s ability to grow. All acceleration applications are presented to our Investment Team for assessment and put into a process of evaluation. The job of our Investment Team is twofold; do you, your business and your industry hold the potential for growth; and can we, through our program, relationships and activities work with you to accelerate your growth. If you don’t grow, we don’t grow!
As a minimum, your business needs to be generating average monthly revenues of at least R150,000 per month over the last 6 months.
Result
A business with a solid foundation in place, built on the principles of an asset of value, engaged in accelerated growth resulting from well thought out strategy, comprehensive business systems, reliable and accurate financial management systems, smart dealmaking structures and enhanced funding prospects.
What Does It Cost
A registration cost is followed by a monthly management fee and revenue share. The revenue share is calculated on the back of an internal evaluation process conducted by our investment team.
