Caribbean Coffee

Wake up to a pot of SA’s own ‘black gold’

When you wake up and smell the coffee, Malcolm Clark is eager to ensure that what you smell is locally roasted, full flavoured coffee from the Caribbean Coffee Company. His company takes pride in being coffee roasters, supplying roasted coffee beans either in whole or ground form on a wholesale basis.

Malcolm says that too much emphasis is placed on imported coffees. Caribbean Coffee roasts in the old, traditional way, ensuring a full flavoured coffee. Unlike imported brands, the roasting is only done to order, which makes certain that every order is fulfilled just days before delivery, avoiding the problem of stale coffee that sometimes accompanies the more expensive foreign brands.

Additionally, the company offers chocolate-coated coffee beans that marry the finest Belgian dark chocolate with the company’s freshly roasted beans. Bringing an exceptional passion for a great product and coupling it with the capacity to produce a ton per day on a regular shift, the company maintains the same strong coffee history and culture that has been in existence in SA since the early Dutch settlers. As Malcolm points out:  - local is not only lekker, it is also fresher!

Where the company needs assistance is in partnering with an individual or company that can manage the PR, marketing and sales aspects of the business, and which has the contacts in the trade to take the products further.
