Everybody has days where they feel bad about themselves. Whether your self-image has taken a knock or you’ve just had a bad hair day, it helps to have someone to massage your self esteem. Donacristi, launched in Bryanston in 2008 by Donna-Rae Patricios, is a unique business concept that focuses on doing exactly that.
Donacristi boosts personal self confidence thanks to its variety of wholly-owned services which offers corporate and private image coaching as well as feel good shopping and services with their clothing boutique; hair salon; two beauty salons, nail salon and French-inspired tea room.
In addition, the business has partnerships with a variety of life coaches, nutrition experts, physical trainers and even financial advisors.
Donacristi is looking to add to its skills set with a creative hairstylist who has a talent for image makeovers and a clothing designer who understands different body shapes, in order to design flattering outfits for all.
And it wouldn’t be the 21st Century if reality TV wasn’t involved somewhere, with Donna-Rae indicating that she hopes to develop a local self-confidence improvement reality TV show. The concept and the content is already there, all that is required is for someone to help make it happen.
