Entreprenuership is neither a science nor an art. It is a practice. Peter Drucker The Man Who Invented Management

South Africa’s Total Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) rate is very low compared to countries with similar systemic and structural socio-economic environments. A low TEA rate simply means a low rate of entrepreneurship development leading to a low SME development rate. This places massive pressure on government and big business to generate jobs without the assistance of a thriving SME sector.
Considering that the SME sector generates more than 42% of all private sector jobs yet only owns approximately 12-17% of economic GDP, entrepreneurship and SME development is surely the most exciting, viable and major job creation opportunity that South Africa faces.
Aurik conceptualises, builds and runs large programs that focus on grass-roots entrepreneurial development.
A series of fun, experiential, game-based entrepreneurial training sessions for participants will introduce entrepreneurship as a practical option to joblessness. The program will also educate participants about the options that are available to them today and identify practical opportunities for unemployed people to use the skills from the program to “create their own jobs”.
The programs are designed and developed against client mandates and specifications on a negotiated basis.
