Partners Richard van Helden, a qualified Advocate, and Pancho Harding, realized that small entrepreneurs often wanted the same legal agreements time and time again and so developed a technology-based service that generates highly customised legal contracts in real time using information gained via a unique online interview process. Essentially, LawUnlocked provides high-quality law accessible to smaller players at a fraction of the cost associated with traditional methods.
Richard and Pancho recognized that individuals and small enterprises often resorted to ‘self-help’ when it came to legal contracts and the result was that they would then have to incur huge costs and the trauma of litigation to remedy the situation. Thinking about this common problem, the legal eagle and the techie decided that some areas of contract law could be automated given a sophisticated enough engine. Thus was born LawUnlocked.
While Law Unlocked is technically proficient and delivers a great service, the two founding partners require advertising and marketing assistance to help ensure their business becomes the online version of LA Law.
