A Moveable Feast – Mobile Kitchens and Fridges
It’s amazing to think how very often a few simple elements fit into place to form a great business idea. In this case we are talking about how a whopping 103 fridges, 10 kitchens and several portable toilets came together like a giant jigsaw puzzle to form Mzansi Mobile Fridges. For Notokozo Bitela,, the catalyst for his great idea was attending many functions, particularly in townships, where he felt the logistics were not particularly well taken care of. Aside from plugging a gap in the functions arena, Notokozo takes particular pleasure in the knowledge that Mzansi Mobile Fridges is creating employment for community entrepreneurs who hire his equipment.
Notokozo believes that the company’s SABS ISO 9001 quality accreditation, great prices and focus on community entrepreneurs is its competitive advantage
For all of his impressive organising abilities, Notokozo does feel that he needs a sales and marketing distribution footprint in Gauteng, Limpopo and the Free State and needs to connect with the business owners in those areas who serve township markets with butcheries, fruit and vegetable shops, as well as bottle shops. He also requires assistance with accounting.
