It’s a shocking fact that before Pyramid Electrical Contractors came onto the scene, there was no single company capable of tracing, locating and repairing underground electrical cables. This gap in the market was ‘Watt’ enabled Kariema Price’s company to surge ahead of the competition.
Kariema says that Pyramid offers a holistic service, without the need to outsource either the tracing or repairing jobs – something all the competition does. In this way, she keeps costs down and keeps customers happy. Also, she believes that no job is too big or too small; Pyramid tackles jobs from private households through to major municipalities.
The company not only encourages personal growth and development amongst its employees, thanks to a culture of inspiration and aspiration, but it has also been involved in mentoring smaller companies in the same industry, assisting them to learn the ropes.
Of course, providing a niche service is all well and good, but Kariema says that she would like some mentorship on marketing and strategy, as she hopes to expand Pyramid’s service into the corporate sector. This she hopes, would include introductions to the right people in the financial services, retail and leisure industries. Additionally, she would welcome assistance with upgrading the website to appeal to these new markets, while at the other end of the scale, Pyramid needs help in marketing and advertising to the average man-in-the-street.
