Roof Recon
A new approach to waterproofing without the waterworks.
Roof Recon is a specialist waterproofing business started five years ago by Kevin Clark, a former freelance waterproofer. Although not operating in the sexiest of industries, Roof Recon has nevertheless outdone, outplayed and outwitted the competition and is now considering expanding from Gotham City to the Mother City.
Having developed his business concept while applying a liquid acrylic waterproofing system to a roof, Clark Kent – sorry, Kevin Clark – quickly designed and patented his company’s unique roof fixing waterproof bolt washer.
A radically different approach to the standard waterproofing applications, Roof Recon utilises its patented technology to deliver a superhero solution!
Unlike liquid applied solutions, Roof Recon tackles the problem at its core, refastening the roof sheets to the actual structure and fitting sealing strips between these sheets. The solution prevents wind-driven rain and dust from penetrating between the joins in the roof sheets.
The biggest challenge Kevin faces has nothing to do with rescuing damsels in distress, as you might imagine, but rather something more mundane…
He struggles with getting access to the technical people who would truly appreciate the benefits of his unique system. Roof Recon requires assistance with mentorship that would include introductions to industrial property owners and their engineers. The company is also seeking access to a medium that will help get its message across to factory and warehouse owners.
