Thabiso Mango is well aware that in the hospitality industry, setting the scene and having the right accessories is what makes or breaks restaurants, hotels or even corporate dining experiences.
Her company, Siphethumnotho Investment Holdings, was created in order meet the needs of the hospitality industry, focusing on providing the ideal tableware for any occasion. The Avantgarde tableware range is a complete and extensive selection of innovative chinaware, glassware, cutlery, hollowware, buffetware and contract furniture, all designed to be of excellent quality, but without the attendant high price tag.
Thabiso says that the company was designed to offer the discerning commercial operator a stylish, well-designed and cost effective solution for high volume, luxury catering and food service outlets. They cater for hotel, convention and function banqueting, as well as air, cruise and rail catering. Their offering is also well suited to restaurants, cafes, clubs, pubs and coffee shops.
She launched the company in 2008, after recognising the need for a very attractive alternative to the very expensive European tableware brands that were being imported.
