Maximising productivity, minimising Facebook in the workplace

In today’s tough economic times, every company wants to ensure maximum productivity. However, can most managers really tell the difference between an employee working frantically on their PC and one who is actually talking to friends on Facebook?

If they make use of the KeyScore product developed by Jan Laubscher’s company, Systems Development & Support, they most certainly can. KeyScore is a tool designed to assess the productivity of office workers by showing slack time to management. It delivers an online graphical presentation of employee activity and slack time is determined at a glance. This means that the days of casually playing Farmville while claiming a paycheck are over!

Jan says that besides preventing employees from tweeting all day long, the tool shows actual activity compared to time sheet entries, to allow management to control costs related to temporary staff. It also enables managers to design a strategy to reward productive staff and decide whether to hire additional staff.
However, what the company needs now is help in spreading the news about KeyScore and how it helps managers. To do this, Jan says he requires introductions to senior C-level executives at medium to large corporations.

In addition, he would like assistance with online marketing, through banner ads and the like, as well as a means of working more closely with productivity consultants and trainers, for whom KeyScore would be an extremely useful tool.
