Value-Ad leads the way in for salespeople

Advertising guru William Bernbach intimated that the key to building a long-term, successful enterprise lies in not trying to close a sale, but rather in opening a relationship. Kevin Daly, MD of Value-Ad, has taken this to heart, creating a solution that enables salespeople to build effective relationships with customers.

Coming from a background in sales himself, Kevin says that many salespeople still utilise manual systems like Excel to track and follow up on leads. While the perception is that this is good enough, the reality is that this method is not nearly as efficient and effective as it should be.

For this reason, he developed Value-Ad, which uses software to track and allocate leads. This enables clients to increase their bottom line, by providing the correct allocation of leads to the right salesperson for the right customer at the right time.

Kevin adds that the company now has clients in the financial services and investment industries and is planning to expand into the telecoms and property sectors. Ultimately, he says, he wants Value-Ad to be a world leader in allocating leads, by continually improving its scientifically sound allocation models.

However, the challenge lies in obtaining the necessary capital to ensure this continuous improvement. No stranger to challenges – he launched the company while also being the father of newborn triplets – Kevin says that financial assistance in this respect would nonetheless be of enormous help to him in overcoming this particular task.
