Wespark Itumeleng Pharmacy
Wespark Itumeleng Pharmacy is a community retail pharmacy which offers primary health care services through their in-house clinic and a fully furnished mobile clinic. The pharmacy is part of a 300m2 building which also houses a doctor, dentist, and optometrist, thus making it a one-stop medical centre.
Lovely Letsoala started the business after 8 years of working experience in the pharmaceutical field. She explains: “I wanted to be financially independent and create wealth, I wanted challenge and to break out of my comfort zone, and most importantly I wanted to make an impact and difference in my industry.” She took the leap, and financed the business with her pension funds and a family loan.
Lovely’s advice to other entrepreneurs is to make sure you know what is happening in your industry, constantly evaluate progress and make the necessary adjustments. As anyone who owns a business will agree, hard work is part of the package! Lovely believes in living life with integrity, setting an example which staff will emulate, and in giving the customer what they want at all times.
The ambition is for Wespark Itumeleng Pharmacy to be the preferred service provider in the area, and for the primary health care service to reach a national level. Ultimately, Lovely Letsoalo aims to grow a successful business that will be independent of her and will create employment in the community.
